Still Life/Composition - Jack Montmeat
Capturing a still life arrangement from the initial drawing to the final painting will be covered in this class. The drawing portion will include instruction in composition in relation to frame of reference, lighting, line quality, angles, and proportions. Additional techniques will include transfer of the drawing to the canvas, underpainting, and applying the final layer of paint. Methods discussed in this class can be used in any subject, from portrait to landscape. All levels and painting mediums welcome.

Fees: $350 for Members, $400 for Nonmembers for 10 weeks
