Karen Cashman grew up in a family of oil painters. She has traveled and painted landscapes in Italy, Quebec, Maine, Colorado and recently in Washington State. She studied at the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts with Nancy Gladwell, Diane Aeschliman, Deane Keller and Jerry Weiss. She has also studied with Marija Pavlovich McCarthy and in plein air workshops with Michael Graves, Chris Magadini and David Lussier. Karen has exhibited in juried shows throughout Connecticut, at the Garvin Gallery in Essex and the Blue Hill Bay Gallery in Maine.
