We will help you overcome the challenges of painting the colorful transformations of fall including how to interpret the vivid colors in the landscape so they fit into the design, composition, and a proper value and color scheme in your painting.

Many painters over-emphasize bright colors because they register in our minds and our eyes in such a powerful way. In this class we will help you to learn how to balance color and light effects by understanding the source of light and focusing on effective use of values in your painting. We will focus on understanding values vs. color and using lights to make darks.
