This workshop is designed for painting fresh flowers. Students will be introduced to different approaches for starting (blocking-in). Discussion will include what specifically to look for while setting your still life and how masters do it. Topics of all tangible visual elements like color values, color temperature, saturation, shapes, edges and design will be covered in this class, including how to paint various types of florals by looking at their simplified forms and shapes; mixing varieties of green shades of leaves; discussing problems which arise at the finishing stage by keeping strong emphasis on the focal point and good design. Teacher will provide with demos and full personal attention to all individuals.

Medium: Oils/Acrylics

Suitable for all levels with the exception of beginners.

Class will be limited to 8 students.
