Fee: $1,000 for non-members, $950 for members. Non-refundable deposit of $300 must be made by January 31 to reserve your place.
The Lyme Art Association is proud to host this one-of-a-kind master of portrait and figure painting for a five day workshop in May. For anyone serious about learning to paint the portrait, his workshop is not to be missed!
Steven will discuss both an analytical and emotive approach to painting the human figure with an emphasis on color and value relationships in a related atmosphere. Steven Assael will address structural issues in regard to both form and function. Topics covered will include proportion, anatomy, light, color, and the development of form. This course will include lectures, demonstrations, and critiques.
Please call the Lyme Art Association at (860) 434-7802 to register.
A non-refundable deposit to hold your place in this workshop is $300. The balance, $700 for non-members or $650 for members, is due before midnight on March 31, 2017. If the balance (or full payment) is not received by March 31, your space may be forfeited without notification.
If you register on or after March 31, please pay the full amount for the class. A $300 payment after March 31 does not reserve for you a place in the class.
Once the class is full, you may put your name on a waiting list.
