Nature journaling is a lot like alchemy—you take pictures and thoughts and words and impressions, and combine them into something new and magical and powerful—a documentation of your experience of the natural world.
Even more incredible? Everyone can do it. It requires no artistic skill or poetic tendencies. No fancy tools or trips to foreign lands.
All it takes is opening the door—not the door to the outside world (though that’s always wonderful)—but the door in your mind that wants to explore life’s genuinely awe-inspiring display of flora and fauna, sea and sky, and everything in between and beyond.
In this class, we’ll explore the fundamentals of nature journaling—from classic observational techniques and tools, to different subject matter, to how to document things effectively (and aesthetically) in your journal.
