Family Day at LAA

Bring the whole family to the Lyme Art Association on Saturday, June 20, from 10 am – 1 pm for a joyful day of art, music, animals, and community. Whether you’re making art, enjoying the current exhibitions, listening to live music on the lawn, or simply spending time with family and friends, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

This free, rain-or-shine event features hands-on art activities for all ages, live performances by Kipp Sturgeon, and by the Wandering Fiddlers, refreshments, and the return of everyone’s favorite visitors—baby goats!

At 11:00 am, we’ll celebrate the talented young artists participating in My Town during the exhibition’s awards ceremony. Visitors are invited to explore the exhibition and help us recognize the creativity and accomplishments of these remarkable young artists.

Artists may also wish to bring a sketchbook or easel and spend time painting outdoors, capturing the musicians, the goats, or the festive atmosphere of the day.
