2026 Priorities

Strengthen Our Organization:

Development Office & Donor Meeting Space: Create a dedicated space for donor visits, grant writing, board meetings, and confidential conversations that help secure the resources needed to advance LAA’s mission.
Technology enhancements: Replace aging computers so that staff will have reliable technology to communicate with artists, register students, process memberships and donations, and keep the organization running efficiently.
Annual Care for Our Historic Building: Provide professional care for our galleries, studios, offices, and public spaces, helping preserve the beauty of our historic building while ensuring a welcoming experience for every visitor.

Preserve Our Collection & History:

Archival storage materials to save records for future generations
High-quality scanner for digitization of records & photographs to share stories of the past with the public today
Temperature and humidity monitoring equipment to carefully monitor storage conditions for artwork and archives

Enhancing Learning & Public Programs:

Model stand equipment for studio sessions to provide appropriate support for art models during figure drawing and painting sessions
Easels for multiple uses in the studio, gallery, and plein air to ensure all students have access to appropriate equipment for creating and learning
Demonstration screen and monitor cart so that instructors have the tools they need to help students learn important methods and techniques
Folding chairs and storage dolly to enhance seating capacity for art talks so that learning can be shared comfortably with all guests
