Cocktail Party & Art Sale – 5:00 – 7:00 pm
Lyme Art Association Members are invited to participate in a day of outdoor plein air painting around Lyme & Old Lyme, and to attend a cocktail party and an art sale of their painted pieces created that day.
After painting the day away, artists and the community are invited to the Lyme Art Association galleries for a cocktail party with live music and hors d’oeuvres and a sale of the artwork painted that very day en plein air. All net proceeds (after the artist’s share) go to support the programs and exhibits of the Lyme Art Association.
Rain date: Sunday, June 23.

Event Day Schedule:
- Participating artists check in at LAA to pick up water bottle, “Participating Artist” sign, and a complimentary bag; check-in times are 10 am – 5 pm on Friday, June 21, or on the morning of June 22.
- On June 22, participating artists set-up and paint throughout the day in and around the towns of Old Lyme & Lyme.
- All participating artists arrive by 4 PM with finished & framed artwork to the Lyme Art Association. Artists MUST tape an exhibition tag to the back of their frame.
- Jurying of works from 4:30 – 5:00.
- Cocktail Party begins at 5:00.
- Awards presented at 5:15.
- Artwork will be displayed for the duration of the cocktail party.
- Each participating artist is given one complimentary ticket to the cocktail event.
