Cancellation policy

Workshops

  • If a student cancels up to 30 days before the workshop begins, LAA will issue a full refund minus any credit card fees.
  • If a student cancels up to 14 days before the workshop begins, LAA will issue a partial refund (one-third of the cost).
  • No refunds will be issued if a student cancels less than 14 days before the workshop start date.
  • Should the instructor cancel for any reason, LAA will issue a full refund minus any credit card fees.

Studio and Plein Air Classes

  • If a student cancels up to 14 days before the class begins, LAA will issue a full refund minus any credit card fees.
  • No refunds will be issued if a student cancels less than 14 days before the class begins.
  • Should the instructor cancel for any reason, LAA will issue a full refund minus any credit card fees.

Online Classes

  • Cancellation policy: Please contact Betsy Barry regarding any cancellations at her e-mail Betsybarrydesigns@gmail.com and she will reach out regarding a refund.

Inclement Weather Cancellation Policy

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to inclement weather. When the Lyme-Old Lyme school district closes for snow, LAA will also be closed for classes and/or workshops. Based on an instructor’s availability, LAA may attempt to hold a make-up session.
