Earl Grenville Killeen: An Artist for Today, Tomorrow & Always

Earl Grenville Killeen is an exceptional artist, who abstracts elements to create a fresh perspective by distilling the beauty of the rusted and discarded to create a personal viewpoint of old beloved objects. His paintings are teeming with life, stories and memories. Earl has had a long and successful career in the visual arts, both as a practicing artist and author. Earl studied at the Art Students League in NYC and has been active, on and off, within the Connecticut art community since 1981. During the last decade, Earl re-activated his productivity, focusing largely on watercolors and on several iconic themes which you see below. Earl has won many awards during his career, including over twenty-five prizes in juried shows within the last six years, truly an incredible accomplishment.

Earl has a special fondness for the Lyme Art Association and recently decided to donate the bulk of his work to benefit LAA.  Earl would love to see his works find new homes among his old and new friends and collectors.  Earl’s paintings will continue to be available from LAA until they are fully dispersed. As a gift to purchasers, the price of the art has been reduced by half.

Please enjoy the artwork on view below! The pieces are organized by series – click on a series name to see all the work within each group.
