Step into a world of color and light in Botanical Radiance, a watercolor workshop celebrating the depth and vibrancy of jewel-toned botanicals. Over three weeks, we’ll explore how to mix and layer saturated pigments, from ruby reds and emerald greens to amethyst purples, while painting a variety of luscious berries and foliage. We’ll also look at how to balance intensity with transparency, create luminous glazes, and capture the natural shine of fruit and leaves.

What Students Will Learn:
    •    How to create luminous, glass-like color through layering and glazing.
    •    How to control staining pigments and mix jewel tones without mud.
    •    Techniques for painting realistic berries, stems, and leaves with natural shine & texture.
    •    How to compose a balanced botanical piece with rich, harmonious color.

All classes meet online and will be recorded for your personal use or if you prefer to watch the recording on your own time and cannot make the class time.
