This course is designed for artists of all skill levels who are unfamiliar with using digital tools. We will discover Procreate for iPad not only for digital art, but also as a useful tool for artists who work in physical media. Even students who love using physical media will benefit from the speed and convenience of using digital tools to create thumbnails, plan compositions, finish sketches, and more. By working through the design process of an art piece from beginning to end, we will learn about the many different ways to incorporate digital tools into your workflow. While we focus mainly on exploring tools in Procreate, we will also be highlighting design, composition, and storytelling in scientific illustration.
