Associate Artists members of the Lyme Art Association are active artists who are participating in the Association’s activities and shows. Artists cannot initially join as Associate Artists, but must demonstrate their accomplishment as working artists by:
- being an Individual Member in good standing for two full years, and
- having 3 works accepted into juried exhibitions at the Lyme Art Association.
Individual members must keep records of their participation in exhibits and notify the Association when they have met the qualifications to become Associate Artist.
Associate Artists may enter work into all exhibitions at the Lyme Art Association with the exception of the Elected Artist Show. They are encouraged to serve on committees and volunteer at events and openings. Many successful and engaged members of the Lyme Art Association have been Associate Artists for decades.
