On view at the same time as Deck the Walls is a new exhibit, Inside Story. This show invites viewers into the quiet drama of interior spaces, i.e., the rooms, corners, and thresholds that shape our daily lives. More than simple settings, interiors hold memory, emotion, and narrative. Interiors are places of solitude, reflection, work, ritual, and imagination. This exhibition seeks to explore this world within the walls of real, invented, intimate, expansive, orderly, or chaotic places, and visitors will discover art that evokes a mood, tells a story, and captures the personal, poetic, and psychological spirit of an inner space.
