About There Is Power Solo Show: Power is often understood as something forceful or visible, yet this work locates it in quieter, more intimate spaces, not in spectacle but in what endures quietly over time. Each painting centers on a distinct source of strength, including love, childhood innocence, daydreaming, courage, nature, hope, the mind, humility, prayer, and resilience, forming a unified meditation on where strength can be found. Jacqueline Stella is a classically trained musician turned painter, whose earlier life as an internationally active concert violinist continues to inform her visual language. Her approach draws on musical structure, where color, light, and form move with a sense of rhythm and intentional pacing. In this way, each work operates less as a fixed narrative and more as a sustained, contemplative experience. Across portraiture and still life, objects and figures carry symbolic weight, reinforcing the idea that nothing within the composition is incidental. The exhibition ultimately positions painting as a space for attention and inward focus, suggesting that power can be found in belief, perception, and the often overlooked moments that shape inner life.
