Below appreciate in this online gallery the creativity of young artists, ages 5-18, in My Town. Inspired by Connecticut’s rich history, My Town encourages young artists to explore what makes their community unique by depicting its people, places and culture, through artwork that is realistic, imaginative, or personal. My Town’s awards ceremony was June 20 at 11 am. June 20 was also Family Day at LAA, which features fun art activities for all ages, and live music performed by Kipp Sturgeon, and the Wandering Fiddlers.
