Learn how colorists use color contrast and color balance to create daring and vivid works of art. Explore by applying the colorist approach to a typical realistic landscape painting. Create landscapes that are tonal and moody or vibrant with sun filled areas and light filled shadows.

In this class you will learn to use the color wheel as a completely different tool, gain an understanding of placement of analogous and complementary colors, and see value instead of just color. Learn to design a color wheel from your own color palette to enable you to use color effectively to achieve a sense of light and atmosphere in your landscapes.
