“I paint to share the mood of the landscape I encounter — the colors, the shapes, the atmosphere, the stillness — at a moment in time. My work reflects my interest in capturing the golden light of the Connecticut River Valley, the pearly light of the Rhode Island shore, the peacefulness of the Lake District in England, the copper light of Tuscany, and the jewel-like colors of Nevis in the Caribbean. I am an Elected Artist Member of the Lyme Art Association, and have exhibited at the Mystic Art Association, and in a select invitational show at the South County Art Association.
