Patt Baldino is a gifted artist whose award winning works have been widely exhibited throughout the United States. Dramatic oil still life and cityscape paintings reflect her impressive technical skills and keen eye for composition. A pinpoint of light on a glass or the play of shadows in her rich palette invites us to explore her work in greater depth.
After graduating from the High School of Art & Design, Patt received an Associate Degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology and a BFA degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She has studied at the National Academy School of Fine Art, the Art Students League, Grand Central Academy as well as workshops with David Leffel, Everett Raymond Kinstler, Wolf Kahn, Daniel Greene and other notable instructors.
After experimenting with various media and techniques, Baldino has settled mainly on oils for the highly acclaimed realistic paintings she produces today. Over the past eight years Patt’s work has been displayed in numerous galleries and prestigious solo, group and juried exhibits in the Northeast, Florida and the Southwest. Included are world wide juried exhibits at The Oil Painters of America National and regional juried shows, the Salon International juried exhibits in San Antonio, TX and International Guild of Realism in Caramel, California.
Patt’s paintings have received awards from the Lyme Art Association, Ridgewood Art Institute, the National Academy of Fine Arts, Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club to name a few. She is represented by several galleries. Publications include: Best of America Oil Artists Book; Art Collector Magazine; New Art International Book; and Art and Illustration.
Patt was juried into the Lyme Art Association and Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club as an Elected Artist. She maintains memberships with Oil Painters of America, Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, Lyme Art Association, International Guild of Realism and American Impressionist Society. She Also presently teaching private art classes to adults and children.
